YOUR MISSION 

MegaGroup Trade Holding is an international technical wholesaler specializing in water solutions that improve people’s lives. We take pride in addressing global water challenges and supporting sectors such as Irrigation, Livestock, Swimming pools, Building services, and industry. 

As a Working Student AI at MegaGroup, you will support the exploration and development of AI opportunities across our business in the Netherlands, Poland and other European countries where relevant. Together with colleagues from different departments, you will learn how their processes work, where challenges or inefficiencies arise, what data is available and how AI could potentially create practical value. You will help turn process knowledge and business questions into feasible AI use cases, proof-of-concepts and small, testable prototypes. The focus is on learning, practical value, responsible use of AI and understanding what works in a real organisational context.

WHAT'S WAITING FOR YOU? 

• Work on practical AI, data and automation projects rooted in real business needs 

• Learn to understand and map business processes before exploring possible AI solutions, with guidance from experienced colleagues 

• Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical colleagues across departments, countries and cultures 

• Explore opportunities in areas such as forecasting, process automation, data quality, reporting, decision support, knowledge management and generative AI use cases 

• Help translate business processes and operational challenges into data-driven ideas, proof-of-concepts and simple AI prototypes using appropriate tools and methods 

• Learn how AI works in a real organizational context — including what doesn’t work 

• Learn about responsible AI adoption, including data privacy, quality, bias, explainability and practical limitations 

WHAT YOU BRING 

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics, Business Analytics or a related technical field 

• You understand AI and machine learning fundamentals and are interested in generative AI, LLMs and practical AI applications 

• Experience with Python and common data tools such as pandas, SQL, notebooks or visualisation tools is a strong advantage 

• You are curious about how business questions can be structured, assumptions can be tested and AI solutions can be assessed in practice 

• You are interested in understanding business processes, spotting improvement opportunities and exploring realistic AI solution directions 

• A curious, proactive and analytical mindset, with the willingness to experiment, learn quickly and work iteratively 

• You enjoy working with people and can explain technical topics clearly to non-technical colleagues 

• Fluent in English. If you speak Dutch as well, it is a great plus!

WHAT WE OFFER 

• A competitive gross hourly rate of €15–€20 per hour 

• A flexible, part-time role designed to fit alongside your studies; ideally, you are available at least 3 days per week for a minimum period of 3 months
