Warehouse Operative

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload with precision: Safely and efficiently handle goods from lorries and containers, ensuring they are stored properly.

• Prepare orders for dispatch: Build pallets, pack parcels, and ensure accurate order fulfilment for on-time delivery.

• Operate warehouse equipment: Safely use forklifts and other equipment to support warehouse tasks.

• Track and maintain stock: Perform inventory checks and update records using Sage Accounts software, ensuring stock levels are accurate.

To be considered for this role, we require the following qualifications and skills:

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person.

• You’ll need to be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving goods throughout the shift.

• Forklift operation knowledge is a bonus, and certification may be required.

• Familiarity with stock management systems (like Sage) is beneficial, though not essential.

• A strong commitment to workplace safety and following health protocols is essential.

• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues.

• Excellent organizational skills to keep the warehouse neat and efficient.
