Sr. Supply & Demand planner

At the heart of this role is the responsibility to align supply and demand, ensuring the right products are available at the right time and place. By optimizing inventory and collaborating across departments, you will play a critical role in meeting customer needs while supporting the company's broader operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the demand planning expert: Own the demand planning process and craft accurate forecasts that strike the perfect balance between customer needs and inventory goals.

• Be an IBP/S&OP champion: Take the lead in the monthly IBP cycles and S&OP meetings, ensuring that all teams are in sync and demand and supply are perfectly aligned.

• Be the inventory optimizer: Keep stock levels just right—meeting customer demand without overstocking, while also ensuring smooth cash flow.

• Tackle supply chain challenges head-on: Spot and resolve supply chain disruptions quickly, ensuring everything keeps running smoothly and efficiently.

• Be the process improvement driver: Always look for ways to refine and enhance our demand-supply processes and IT systems to boost efficiency and accuracy.

We are looking for a professional with exceptional analytical skills, precision, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

• Analytical: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make sound decisions to optimize performance.

• Accuracy: Detail-oriented and meticulous in planning and forecasting processes.

• Communication: Skilled in clear, proactive communication with internal stakeholders, from sales to category management.

• Collaboration: A team player with a proactive mindset, capable of driving improvements across functions.

To be considered for this position, please ensure you meet the following key requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or business economics.

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain or demand planning, ideally in a (technical) wholesale or retail environment.

• Hands-on experience with IBP and/or S&OP processes.

• Strong proficiency in demand planning and inventory management systems (experience with SLIM4 is an advantage).

• Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
