Supply & Demand Planner

We are seeking a Supply & Demand Planner to join our Supply and Demand Department at MegaGroup Logistic Services B.V. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels
• Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions
• Monitor supply chain activities and address any disruptions
• Optimize inventory levels to meet customer needs and company goals
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders

A typical workday often begins with a cup of coffee/tea and share information with your colleagues about achievements and upcoming challenges. Then, you dive into your tasks based on priority. Additionally, you assist your colleagues in resolving any issues promptly. You keep your colleagues well-informed. Besides regular work, you have time to explore, experiment, or document things for yourself.

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, operations management, economics, or a related field. 
• Preferably 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar position in a logistics environment.
• Proven experience in supply chain management or demand planning.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
• Proficiency in inventory management and forecasting techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English language, spoken and written. 
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, SLIM and D365 (pre).
