Cloud & System Engineer

A typical workday often begins with a standup meeting, where all participants share information about achievements and upcoming challenges. Then, you dive into tasks based on priority. Additionally, you assist colleagues in swiftly resolving any issues to keep operations smooth. Temporary solutions may be implemented while seeking permanent fixes. We dislike loose ends and encourage transparent communication among colleagues. Alongside routine tasks, there's time for personal exploration, experimentation, or documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborating with colleagues to devise new solutions and enhance existing systems.
• Supporting users and liaising with vendors when necessary.
• Proactively suggesting process improvements and task automation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience with modern operating systems such as Microsoft Server; Linux proficiency is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Kubernetes (preferred).
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
