Cloud & System Engineer

WE ARE MEGAGROUP HOLDING AND WATER TECHNOLOGY IS OUR PASSION. WE SPECIALIZE IN SUPPORTING CUSTOMERS IN TACKLING CHALLENGES AROUND PIPE SYSTEMS, IRRIGATION, WATER RECREATION, AND WATER PURIFICATION.

You can contribute to this mission by working on the management and development of our cloud infrastructure.

Your day starts with a stand-up meeting on performance and challenges. Together with colleagues, you design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure for new solutions and existing systems. You support users and maintain supplier contacts for optimal efficiency. Proactively improving processes and automating tasks, with an eye on temporary solutions, is key. Transparency and collaboration are core values, with room for personal development. You ensure scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure, crucial for operational continuity and high-quality technological solutions meeting MegaGroup's and its clients' needs.

Your responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Actively collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative solutions and enhance existing systems.
• Supporting users and communicating with suppliers.
• Actively proposing process improvements and task automation.
• Ensuring scalability and security of the cloud infrastructure.

What you bring:

• Bachelor in IT.
• Experience with modern operating systems (Microsoft Server; knowledge of Linux is a plus).
• Demonstrable experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
• Skill in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Kubernetes desired).
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
