Cloud & System Engineer

  • Veghel, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands

Job description

Are you passionate about cloud technologies and eager to contribute to optimizing our systems? Join our dynamic team and collaborate with colleagues and external partners on managing and developing our cloud infrastructure. Our applications run on platforms including Dynamics AX, Astro, Slim4, and Perfion.

Water technology is our field, and our employees are the athletes. Water is the essence of life, touching everyone's existence. By 2030, 3.7 billion people will inhabit areas with water stress. Balancing too much or too little water presents significant challenges in water management. MegaGroup believes in providing water solutions to enhance people's lives. Our mission is to facilitate growth for our customers, employees, and partners by making water solutions easily, smartly, and efficiently accessible.

A typical workday often begins with a standup meeting, where all participants share information about achievements and upcoming challenges. Then, you dive into tasks based on priority. Additionally, you assist colleagues in swiftly resolving any issues to keep operations smooth. Temporary solutions may be implemented while seeking permanent fixes. We dislike loose ends and encourage transparent communication among colleagues. Alongside routine tasks, there's time for personal exploration, experimentation, or documentation.

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to devise new solutions and enhance existing systems.
  • Supporting users and liaising with vendors when necessary.
  • Proactively suggesting process improvements and task automation.

Job requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience with modern operating systems such as Microsoft Server; Linux proficiency is a plus.

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.

What We Offer:

  • Challenging role with autonomy and responsibility.
  • Room for personal growth and initiative.
  • Work in a young, enthusiastic, and international team.
  • Competitive salary and bonus scheme.
  • 25 vacation days and 12 ADV (additional days off) days.
