Senior Procurement manager

About the Role
As a Procurement & PIM Manager, you hold a key position within the organization, responsible for strategically and operationally managing and optimizing the procurement and product information process.

Your primary objectives are to align procurement and assortment operations with business goals, ensuring cost efficiency, reliability, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulations and ensuring product data is managed correctly, including data architecture, data processes and data maintenance.

Additionally, you are expected to implement sustainable and innovative solutions to enhance overall procurement performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all procurement activities to ensure seamless the right portfolio at the right price.

•    Ensure supplier performance at the right level and identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Lead and oversee the tendering process for all categories, including supplier selection, bid preparation, contract negotiation, and alignment with the company’s cost, quality, and service standards.

• Secure supply chain through alternative suppliers and protect the business with contracts.

• Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers and sales companies to optimize service levels.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

• Ensure full compliance with regulations, including dangerous goods regulations and company policies.

• Quality assurance on data, data architecture and data processes.

• Co-ordinate the identification, collection, evaluation and storage of data in the MegaGroup systems, especially PIM and AX.

• Upload and update data in in the systems. 

• Maintaining all data and the data structures that are part of the commercial interaction with the customer, i.e. Pricing, logistic information, product information.

• Lead an procurement team of category managers, product information management team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.

• Achievement of cost-saving targets while maintaining product availability at right cost.

• Timely execution of procurement roadmap to ensure the right portfolio available with minimal delays and disruptions.

• Compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Correct data, completeness of data, suitability of data.

• SLA for handling updates, changes, additions or corrections

• Continuous process improvement initiatives leading to measurable efficiency gains.

• Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to optimize performance.

• High levels of customer satisfaction performance management of suppliers.

• Successful leadership and development of the procurement team, ensuring motivation and performance.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, including managerial roles.

• Experience with divers supplier land scape in an international setting.

• Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to optimizing procurement processes.

• NEVI certification (for contract negotiation and procurement) is considered a plus.

• Fluency in Dutch and English is required; knowledge of German is advantageous for managing international suppliers.
