Sr. Demand planner

As a Senior Demand Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our demand planning strategy. You will be responsible for building and refining a structured forecasting process, ensuring accurate demand signals, and fostering collaboration across multiple departments. You will actively collect and analyze data, identify key trends, and implement best practices to enhance forecasting accuracy. Additionally, you will work closely with the IBP Manager to develop and implement an integrated business planning framework that aligns demand with supply chain capabilities. Your proactive approach will drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and contribute to the overall success of our supply chain operations.

• Own the demand planning process: Take charge of forecasting and ensure accuracy by proactively gathering and interpreting market and internal data.

• Drive IBP implementation: Collaborate with the IBP Manager to develop a structured IBP framework, ensuring alignment across departments.

• Make forecasting crystal clear: Develop transparent forecasting models that provide insights for key stakeholders and drive better decision-making.

• Be the bridge between teams: Engage with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to align forecasting with business objectives and operational needs.

• Turn data into action: Create meaningful reports and analyses that translate insights into strategic actions and continuous improvements.

• Lead change with confidence: Identify inefficiencies, develop action plans, and implement improvements to optimize demand planning processes.

We seek a proactive, analytical professional with strong communication skills and a drive for improvement.

To be considered for this position, please ensure you meet the following key requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or Business Economics.

• Several years of experience in a demand planning role.

• Experience in setting up forecasting processes and aligning departments.

• Experience with IBP and/or S&OP is a big plus.

• Fluency in English and Dutch.
