Your mission 

MegaGroup Trade Holding is an international technical wholesaler specializing in water solutions that improve people’s lives. We take pride in addressing global water challenges and supporting sectors such as Irrigation, Livestock, Swimming pools, Building services, and industry.  

Being a Data Engineer at MegaGroup, you expertly manage our data systems. Your day starts with a stand-up meeting on performance and challenges. Together with colleagues, you manage data flow through our systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability. You collaborate on data migration projects, maintain Microsoft SQL Server, and analyze large datasets. Proactive in problem-solving, you implement improvements for data consistency and support colleagues with technical and functional data setup. Transparency and collaboration are core values, with ample room for personal development. 

Your key responsibilities: 

• Architecting, customizing, and overseeing data lakes and warehouses 

• Executing smooth data migrations to Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O 

• Innovating for flawless data integrity 

• Delivering top-tier support for technical and functional data setup 

• Driving IT enhancements and project innovation 

What you bring 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3+ years of SQL experience 

• Experience with data processing software within the Azure suite, such as Data Factory and/or Fabric. 

• Experience with CI/CD frameworks such as GIT 

• Strong logical thinking, analytical, and communication skills 

• Flexible, customer-oriented team player with strong management abilities 

• Fluent in English. If you speak Dutch as well, that’s a great bonus!
